Queen’s Lysis Buffer Preparation

Purpose
To prepare Queen’s Lysis Buffer to collect blood samples on field.
To 800ml of double distilled water add 1.21g of Tris, 0.58g of Nacl, and 20ml of EDTA( 0.5M, pH 8.0) and 10g n-lauroylsarcosine. Check the pH now and adjust to 8 with HCl if needed and bring the volume to 1L. Once prepared, autoclave the buffer.
Fill the buffer in Genaxy (Do not use Tarsons) screw cap vials and store in 100 well boxes till used in field.
